Start with the company workspace
Atlas DPP supports company self-onboarding. The administrator enters company details and creates an administrator account; after successful registration, the workspace is available for sign-in. Having the company name, country, industry, employee count and administrator details ready makes the registration step more direct.
For a smooth start, confirm who is authorized to create the company workspace and choose the administrator account that should own the first product-data tasks. Registration creates the workspace and administrator account; it does not automatically populate product information or confirm regulatory readiness.
Create a first product draft
After signing in, start a DPP draft with the economic operator, product number and product name. The product form can then be extended with category, manufacturer, origin, materials, carbon information and supporting documents as those records become available.
The first saved record is a draft. The product workflow still needs review, validation and any applicable approval or publication steps. A team can begin with a small, representative product and add evidence as it is collected rather than waiting for every product in the portfolio to be ready.
What fits into ten minutes?
If company details and a stable product identifier are at hand, a 10-minute onboarding session can be a useful goal for registering the workspace and starting a basic product draft. It is not a measured average or service-level guarantee, and the time needed will vary with the company’s data and setup.
Completing a passport can take longer. Material composition, supplier records, environmental values and evidence need to be accurate and appropriate for the product. Validation may surface missing fields, and legal requirements depend on the applicable product rules. Think of the first session as the beginning of the workflow—not a shortcut around data quality or compliance review.
- Before registration: prepare company and administrator information.
- Before creating the draft: identify the product and its responsible operator.
- After the first save: add evidence, review readiness and follow the product lifecycle.
